Dairyhaus has some amazing homemade ice cream. I opted for the restaurant week flight to try multiple flavors, and got a pint to go of the coffee ice cream which they partnered with Rockford roasting company. All of the flavors were so delicious, worth my 25 minute drive. No indoor seating, only outdoor seats. You just order at the window. Service was quick. This will definitely be a great summertime spot, just a little difficult if you want ice cream in the winter like me (we ate it in the car to stay warm). I honestly don't think you can go wrong with any flavor here. Photo: Chocolate, chocolate cookie dough, strawberry, red velvet cheesecake (which may I add a partnered with Halo bake shop on). I love that this local business partners with other local businesses to create flavors.

Diary Haus ice cream is delicious. Love the venue style with old school order and pickup windows, and eat outside at the picnic tables. Sat. we got a couple cones and walked to the live music just down the block. Sun. it's the perfect after-church treat location. We never let a summer pass without a few trips to Dairy Haus!

Tastiest homemade ice cream in the area. Totally worth the visit! The place has many options and switches their flavors. Sometimes the line can be a bit long but they usually are quick with service

I'm known to travel far and wide for home made ice cream. Dairy hay's is in the middle of Rockton, a quaint town with tons of antebellum homes (from what I can tell). Excellent quality. It adds 20 minutes to a trip I make frequently, but I'd gladly travel 45 minutes to visit. It's just another way to measure. Try it any time you're near Rockford. Scoops are quite generous.

Great ice cream and location! The workers are very nice and my family and I love getting our ice cream here.

Great little ice cream shop, walk up window with a beautiful garden area for eating. Great selection and nice staff.

This place has the best ice cream hands down the vibe it gives off tho the look I do miss being able to go inside on the hot days though

Very good ice cream. Usually a line on weekends but worth the wait. Highly recommended

Dairyhaus has some of the best ice cream in the area! Their cute, historic, facility is a site for sure! Since Covid, they rearranged the facility so customers now order from a window. I was not thrilled with this as you can no longer see what the menu options are. They now only display ice cream flavors. So, if you are not a super frequent customer... and who can be, unless they are pounding the treadmill 24 hours a day! You many not have their menu options memorized. I sure did not. So, I stuck with a cone. They will allow you to split flavors within a SINGLE scoop serving. Which I thought was fantastic! Not many places will do that. So, I was able to enjoy Cinnamon Ice Cream with Butter Pecan and not have to indulge in a double!
